Lesson Leech pilot — privacy and consent
For a small friends pilot. Not legal advice. The App Store version will have a full privacy policy checked by a lawyer.
What happens to what

- Who handles the text: OpenRouter only uses providers that don't store your text or train on it. It never uses DeepSeek's, Alibaba's or Baidu's own servers in China. The server doesn't log your lesson text.
- What Ignacio can see: your account details and how many hours you've used. He does not see your lessons.
- What isn't collected: no analytics, no tracking, no ads.
Your choices
- Withdraw the AI consent any time in Account & privacy. The AI features then stop.
- Download your data in Account & privacy.
- Delete your account in Account & privacy. This deletes everything the server has about you. Your lessons on your Mac stay unless you choose to delete them too.
- Under 13s can't use Lesson Leech. If you're under 16, tell a parent you're in the pilot.
Before you record
- Ask the teacher. Recording without permission can be against the law and is against most school rules.
- Classmates are recorded too. Keep your transcripts private. Don't share what other people said.
- Delete on request. If a teacher or classmate asks, delete that lesson's folder in
~/LessonLeech/sessions.
